Best record shops in London.<br /> <br />Then Charisma/B&C 1972 Genesis, Monty Python, Van Der Graf etc Marketing, Sales, promotion<br /> <br />1974 – 1977 Managed Nazareth for Mountain Management and helped with The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.<br /> <br />1977 Joined RCA to work with David Bowie primarily but also helped with Elvis catalogue, Bonnie Tyler, Sad Café etc<br /> <br />1980 Returned to Charisma initially as GM became MD in 1982. Peter Gabriel, Genesis etc, Signed Malcolm McLaren, Julian Lennon, The Rock Steady Crew etc<br /> <br />Charisma sold to Virgin, left in 1986<br /> <br />Own management company with producers made records for The Pet Shop Boys, West End Girls and first three albums plus many other acts.<br /> <br />1989 managed first band “SO” had number 1 AOR single in USA toured extensively then in 1991 the act split up.<br /> <br />Various other acts during this time period including Robyn Hitchcock, made a movie with Oscar winning director Jonathan Demme.<br /> <br />1997 signed The Dear Janes for management and a worldwide deal with Geffen Records in LA.<br />During this period also set up a record label for Julian Lennon (who Steve Weltman signed to Charisma in 1983).<br /> <br />2004 became Chief Executive of Zest Group plc and was part of floating this company on the AIM market.<br /><br />2006 Became MD of Greensleeves Records and Publishing at the same time as running Zest.<br /> <br />2009 resigned from Zest and began management relationship with Ken Hensley.<br /><br />The late Ken Hensley had completed work on his new album My Book Of Answers shortly before his untimely death on 4 th November 2020.
